Jan. 2022: Dr. Chunfu Xin attended the 2022 TRB annual meeting and the 12th IACIP annual workshop online.

Dec. 2021: Dr. Chunfu Xin's research proposal "Research on the Mechanism of Traffic Conflict between Electric Bicycle                       and Motor Vehicle at Intersection"​ was accepted and sponsored by Education Department of Inner Mongolia                           Autonomous Region.

Dec. 2021: Dr. Chunfu Xin's first-authored research paper "Modeling the Effects of Asphalt Overlay Design on Pavement                       Distress Initiation with Random Parameters Hazard-Based Duration Models"​ was accepted by Transportation                         Research Record.

Oct. 2021: Dr. Chunfu Xin's research proposal "Research on the Mechanism of Motor Vehicle Traffic Conflict on Curved                       Sections in Mountainous Areas" was accepted and sponsored by Highway Engineering Key Laboratory of                               Sichuan Province.

Jul. 2021: Dr. Chunfu Xin attended the WTC 2021 annual meeting in Xi'An, China.

Jul. 2021: Dr. Chunfu Xin's co-authored research paper "Development of Porous Asphalt Mixture with Bio-based Epoxy                         Asphalt" ​was accepted by Journal of Cleaner Production.

Jan. 2021: Dr. Chunfu Xin attended the International Symposium on Pavement, Roadway, and Bridge Life Cycle                                      Assessment 2020 online.

Dec. 2020: Dr. Chunfu Xin ​started to work as a graduate supervisor at Inner Mongolia University, China.

Dec. 2020: Dr. Chunfu Xin ​was recognized as a distinguished reviewer for Journal of Infrastructure Preservation and                                Resilience (nominated by Dr. Xianming Shi).

Dec. 2020: Dr. Chunfu Xin ​was invited to serve as a reviewer for Transportation Research Part D: Transport and                                      Environment (invited by Dr. Qing Lu).

Nov. 2020: Dr. Chunfu Xin attended the WTC 2020 Special Forum in Chengdu, China.

Aug. 2020: Dr. Chunfu Xin ​started to work as an associate professor (special hiring) at Inner Mongolia University, China.

Jun. 2020: Dr. Chunfu Xin ​was invited to serve as a reviewer for Materials (invited by Ms. Milica Kentera).

Apr. 2020: Dr. Chunfu Xin ​was invited to serve as a reviewer for International Journal of Pavement Research and                                    Technology (invited by Dr. Chung Wu).

Apr. 2020: Dr. Chunfu Xin's photo was selected to be included in TRB 2020 Annual Meeting Highlights "A Century of                            Progress: Foundation for the Future" for sharing research announcements with the Asphalt Binders Committee.

Apr. 2020: Mr. Chunfu Xin's co-authored research paper ​"Evaluation of Hot Mix Asphalt Containing Reclaimed Epoxy                           Asphalt Materials" was accepted by Sustainability.

Apr. 2020: Mr. Chunfu Xin ​was invited to serve as a reviewer for Sustainability (invited by Mr. Meritxell Millan).

Apr. 2020: Mr. Chunfu Xin ​was invited to make a seminar presentation about "Post-overlay Flexible Pavement                                        Performance Modeling"  on April 3, 2020 (nominated by Dr. Qing Lu, invited by Dr. Xiaopeng Li).

Apr. 2020: Mr. Chunfu Xin ​was invited to serve as a reviewer for Measurement  (invited by Dr. Fabrizio Spano).  

Mar. 2020: Mr. Chunfu Xin was invited to serve as a young member of TRB AFD10 committee (2020-2023)                                             (nominated by Dr. Linda Pierce).

Feb. 2020: Mr. Chunfu Xin ​was invited to serve as a reviewer for Engineering Reports                                                                                 (invited by Dr. Giampiero Accardo).      

Feb. 2020: Mr. Chunfu Xin ​started to serve as a webmaster for TRB Pedestrian and Bike Safety                                                                  Analysis Subcommittee (approved by Dr. Shane Turner)

Jan. 2020: Mr. Chunfu Xin was invited to serve as a reviewer for Journal of Infrastructure Preservation and                                              Resilience (Invited by Dr. Xianming Shi)

Jan. 2020: Mr. Chunfu Xin attended the 2020 TRB annual meeting in Washington, D.C.

Jan. 2020: Mr. Chunfu Xin's first-authored research paper "Sustainable flexible pavement overlay policy for reduced life-                       cycle cost and environmental impact" was accepted by International Symposium on Pavement, Roadway, and                        Bridge Life Cycle Assessment 2020 (approved by Dr. John Harvey)

Dec. 2019: Mr. Chunfu Xin started to work as a research assistant in USF Smart Urban Mobility Laboratory                                              (hired by Dr. Yu Zhang)

Nov. 2019: Mr. Chunfu Xin presented his research work (infrastructure management) and got the third prize in                                           poster competition of the 2019 Florida Automated Vehicle Summit in Miami, Florida. 

Nov. 2019: Mr. Chunfu Xin presented his research work (sustainable materials) and got the first place in 2019                                           CUTR poster competition. 

Nov. 2019: Mr. Chunfu Xin was selected to receive a Georgia Brosch Memorial Transportation Scholarship.

Jan. 2019: Mr. Chunfu Xin attended the 2019 TRB annual meeting in Washington, D.C.

Nov. 2018: Mr. Chunfu Xin's first-authored research paper "Development of crash modification factors of horizontal curve                       design features for single-motorcycle crashes on rural two-lane highways: A matched case-control study" was                        accepted by Accident Analysis & Prevention.

Oct. 2017: Mr. Chunfu Xin's first-authored research paper "The effects of neighborhood characteristics and the built                               environment on pedestrian injury severity: A random parameters generalized ordered probability model with                         heterogeneity in means and variances" was accepted by Analytic Methods in Accident Research.

Jan. 2017: Mr. Chunfu Xin's first-authored research paper "Optimization of hard modified asphalt formula for Gussasphalt                     based on uniform experimental design" was accepted by Construction and Building Materials.

Jan. 2017: Mr. Chunfu Xin attended the 2017 TRB annual meeting in Washington, D.C.

Oct. 2016: Mr. Chunfu Xin's first-authored research paper "Modeling safety effects of horizontal curve design on injury                          severity of single-motorcycle crashes with mixed-effects logistic model" was accepted by the Transportation                           Research Record.

Oct. 2016: Mr. Chunfu Xin's first-authored research paper "Safety effects of horizontal curve design on motorcycle crash                        frequency on rural, two-lane, undivided highways in Florida" was accepted by the Transportation Research                            Record.

Jan. 2016: Mr. Chunfu Xin attended the 2016 TRB annual meeting in Washington, D.C.

Oct. 2015: Mr. Chunfu Xin's co-authored research paper "Evaluation and Optimization of Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA-13)                       Mix Design  using Weight-matrix Method" was accepted by Road Materials and Pavement Design.
